Part of the joy of breeding and loving puppies,
is the heartache of the loss of puppies that just are not to be.
Rascal miscarried her litter today,
to no fault of hers or ours,
just the wrong time - this time.
After a nap on my lap all morning ,
she was up this afternoon,
begging for a walk in the field,
wanting to go to ground.
We are planning spring breedings when the females cycle, with pups born in Colorado 2012
Since I do not have puppies available until next spring,
I am often asked for references to breeders who have Jack Russell puppies for placement now....
I only recommend those breeders who care for their pups as I do - seriously committed to socialization, and preparation for the puppy to be your forever companion.
