Jackie Oh was our original Terrier, and her breeding is in four generations of our dogs.
Our Terriers are family. They all live in our homes, and travel in our RV.
They recieve individual attention and time. Seven of the adults have working certificates,
all get time in the field when ever possible.
Each has special talents at trials with numerous championships
in multiple fields of competition.
They were carefully selected for their conformation, and ability.
We enjoy raising limited puppies and take pride in placing them with loving homes.
We like to keep a couple of puppies to 6-12 months of age for training and development
and then offer them to families seeking a terrier past the "weanling puppy" stage.
Our terriers have CERF exams annually and we participate in the JRTCA Research programs.

Our foundation stud. He became a SENIOR, 9 years old, in 2008.
He is still in excellent health, CERFs clear, and consistantly places in conformation, Super Earth,
and has Veteran Racing and Go-to-ground Championships.
He displays a steady hunting instinct & has a kind character.
He is recognised for his unusual face with a perfect mask and blaze and a snow white, muscular body. His get are tri-colored and carry his excellent build and personality.

Our Jackie granddaughter is following all the
West Elk Traditions. She is a wonderful mother with consistant, quality pups. We enjoy her attitude and
busy personality. She is the perfect groundhog dog, with several NHC, and consistant, multiple bolts
and time under ground EVERY time in the hunt field.
She placed SECOND in the Smooth Under Working Bitch class at the 2011 JRTCA National Trial.
And was the Working Terrier Champion at the fall 2010 Texas trials.

He loves games, whether a round of ball toss,
hunting lizards, or working his favorite quarry -Colorado Marmot.
He has over FIFTEEN Adult Under GTG Championships, several Reserve Race Championships,
and many blues in Conformation.
He has a NHC to Raccoon, Groundhog, and Red Fox.
He is what we wanted for a
great all-around Terrier and is proving to be sire of correct, healthy puppies

More importantly, she did well in the field this fall, met a groundhog, and shows promise as a working terrier.

JACKS WAY CAMIE is a smooth tan and white bitch we have known since she was a puppy. We are honored to have her join West Elk from Briarpatch terriers in Maryland. She is a sweet and game terrier who is learning to play with our team. She loves people and is well mannered and obedient. We look forward to finding her expertise at trials and spending time with her in the field. Her first puppies will be born in mid July, sired by West Elk Stripe
